After reading Ken's DEMA comments and visting the websites suggested by Ken and Chris I am even more confused. I have been looking for a good starter camera and can not make sense out of what constitutes a "good starter camera". There are so many cameras to choose from all with different options. My question is what are the most important things to look for in a camera for underwater photography? I have decided that I do want to go with a digital. Even still there are many things to consider (ie. Megapixels, resolution, Lens Mount, Focal Length Multiplier, LCD Size, Data I/O, Storage). I obviously don't want to spend a fortune on something that I might not even like (or be any good at). What is a good budget amount to set for a good starter camera and housing?
