Typical political games - same thing happened after we voted in Prop 13 - cut the programs that mean the most to the people: school teachers, libraries, parks, facilities. Meanwhile leave the real waste and pork alone - duplicated programs, featherbedding, overregulation, etc.. Arnold and many legislators are just throwing a tantrum. They need to read and implement the last California Performance Review's recommendations instead of commissioning yet another study.

California's parks are a bargain - compare their camping fees to a KOA stay. People spend hundreds of dollars for a day at Disneyland, but complain about a $6 to $10 parking fee for an all-day stay at one of our fine beaches.
