Personally, I'd like to see the daily limit down to 4/diver/day. I've never understood when anyone would "need" 7 lobsters per day. (And don't get me started on people who stockpile them in their freezer. The actual wording of the law is "in possession" so freezer bugs count towards the total.)

I'd also support a maximum size (or weight limit). One they reach a certain length or weight, they're not able to be kept and have to be released if taken (noted on your lobster card, too).

And while I realize data in terms of total tonnage of take indicates the lobster population is OK, I don't think we've drilled down far enough in the data. Anecdotally, the average size of lobster taken today is much smaller than it was 10 or 20 years ago.
