With annual maintanance starting at $60.00 while you can get a new regulator for few hundred bucks I am curious whether it's actually worth the money to keep taking your regulator in.
Does everyone here takes in their first stage/regulator for service at least once a year?
Are there actually safety issues (assuming all gear is rinsed and cleaned after each dive) or it's just a way for dive shops to make money?
Can you do most of the stuff yourself and possibly service it only every 2-3 years?
P.S.
I have a scubapro G250. Any suggestions on cleaning it? I never tried taking it apart but has always been curious how difficult that would be.
All feedback is appreciated.
