You are so right on that one. (As pertains to REC diving, when FOLLOWING THE RULES.) The Secret Agent Man attitude towards going to look at (or munch on, even) the fishies et al. actually bugs the bejesus out of me, and doesn't do a lot for getting folks into the sport. For cryin' out loud, guys, we can all do something else to establish ourselves as Heroes. Of COURSE be safe, but unless using the allure of the sport as a chick magnet in the bars of Hermosa (fine, fine, one does what one has to) let's get real about this.
