"Since my suit has a cuff dump it's easy for me to simply raise my left arm to vent as I'm using two hands
to reel up."

So is it really that hard for the masses to chew gum, walk and pat your head at the same time?
If you are reeling up then you pause on the reeling, hold the reel with right hand, middle finger or ring or
pinky applies pressure to the line so your reel doesn't unspool, left hand takes BC dump valve
left hand goes up and dumps air from cuff and left index finger is employed to dump
BC air.

Took longer to explain than to perform in real life.
