The requirement of an email address (mungeable) is fine, if ineffective without any validation.

But the 1 post limit per month (calendar or 30 day interval?) involving ANY DISCUSSION of an event (let's not mince words, any DIR demos) seems petty, and in conflict with the inclusiveness all of your web sites have traditionally had.

You've listed every dive boat, and every dive gear maker you know of. Now you've decided to cancel by rule discussion on a subject you don't care for. It would make sense for paid classes, but I can't agree with your description of the demos as nothing more than a scam seminar. Those intros were very useful for many people, and one of the gains to the local divers assisted by this BBS. It's your's to end this, but it's not a helpful or wise call.

Usually virtual combatants are far more rude/coniving than live ones. But in this case, perhaps meeting on both planes of existence proves to be far worse? More shortly put- WTF can't you two play nice? We don't seem to have these issues on ba_diving.
