The point of this is to ask what your reaction would be if I emptied my tank intentionally for a somewhat valid reason, in an obviously pretty safe situation. You can call it a silly question if you like.
I have to admit that that is not the usual occasion when I have emptied my tank. I have usually done that when I am pushing my bottom time to the limit, especially when diving shallow (30 feet or less), in which case, your position would seem more appropriate.
Then again I now mostly use a HP 100 tank and you do not generally push those to the end, cuz it comes really fast.
