My buddy and I encountered two schooling sharks yesterday off Yellow Fin point at Catalina and we're trying to get a positive ID on them. So far we're pretty sure what they are not (blues, leopard, seven gill, soupfin, etc.) They hung around for quite a while and had distinctive tails a little like a white or mako. Were about 5 to 6 feet long.

Any good links, especially for a juvenile size? I tried the Human and 'Everything you wanted to know..." books, but couldn't find a good match.
