Security , insecurity, and respect for others |

They understand that acting through example is the best way to promote their methods. Those who are insecure in them self and their own beliefs and methods must belittle others choices as a mask for their own fear. Their insecurity manifests itself by refusing to believe others can make rational choices that differ with their own. Those who are especially insecure can never admit they are wrong or ever apologize for their mistakes. People who respect others believe people can make rational choices about their own actions. Those with no respect for others ability to make rational choices for them self feel compelled to force their own choices upon others. Perhaps the lack of respect for others goes hand in hand with the insecurity. |
