I don't know how you can ask that. After all Chris, I and others have done to
make this a great site where you can talk about what you want without concern
that the scuba police will wretch at you, I'm disappointed you would ask this
question. These whiners are small fry, less than a kelp fly.
You should remember what this was about. Heck, you were a big help in the same
effort to fend off the problem children we were afflicted with. You put up good
reports that help make this site what it is. How can you question the value of
the report or care about the sockpuppets? Anyone that gets their amusement from
watching this bbs from a distance, is welcome to it, but I think it was
demonstrated that this bbs can and will be protected.
Give us stories. Give us good stories about dive adventures to places we will
be very lucky to see ourselves. Soak em if they don't like it.

For anyone that has come to this board in just the past couple of years
You should be glad you missed some of the more wacky times when the scuba police
rather rightously patrolled the board and tried to take it over. At the time,
shortly after they appeared, I sent some emails to some regular posters asking
if they had been harassed off the board for their views. They repeatedly said
yes and that was the start of a long war against the self rightous ideologists.
It was weird and unpleasant. The board is much better since that ended.
At the same time, that war is also the reason we try to ignore comments that
while off the wall or maybe worse, are not harassment. We've seen what real
harassment is and don't tolerate it. These folks are sockpuppet whiners.
I hope you don't think I have ever varnished the truth for the scuba police and
I sure hope that you all never do.
