Are you bothered by anyone's dive reports if they mention anything out of the realm of recreational diving? I read every dive report I see. I enjoy learning about sites I haven't dived yet, hearing about the current conditions and I also get a kick out of someone else getting the same enjoyment from diving a particular site that I do. I've read many dive reports and written a few myself that get slammed for mentioning any depth beyond 130 feet, solo, breathing air, etc. Ross-O wrote a wonderful trip report about the deep reef in Redondo Canyon a couple of weeks ago. He included several nice pictures and it was clear that he had a good time. On the "other" board there was only one derogatory reply from the usual suspect. Fortunately, nobody replied to his post. I'm all for a free and open forum, but do we really need to rip someone who wishes to share their adventures with us? I look forward to many more dive reports.
