I just ordered a pair of medical scissors from leisure pro as I've heard they work better than a knife for some things. I've only been tangled in fishing line once. It was caught on my valve stem, but I managed to reach around and snap it with my little bc knife. I read the posts about the new monofiliments out there and am wondering, is there any other entanglement hazards that an average - non-wreck diver would encounter that couldn't be dealt with using a pair of scissors?
