Bringing it to other's attention should be encouraged not frowned upon... The first step in correcting a problem is admitting there is a problem...
The dive industry has a long history of limiting the focus of attention on fatalities so as to avoid negative publicity, but I don't share that view.. Why is it when DAN publishes and sells there statistics about fatalities that is embraced, but when diver's try to talk to each other in a more current fashion about issues that may DIRECTLY effect us we are called ghouls???
Shit happens in our sport and some may chose to bury there head in the sand and not want to address it, other's see what can be learned from other's... If these facts fly in the face of a predetermined desired conclusion, there isn't much I can do about it.. But to stiffle open forums is something that I'm not interested in...
