There seems to be a significate gain by using 50/50 deco over the 40/60. I could have switched to the 40/60 at 99' and have done better but I was using the deco time from the cobra. The Cobra is more conservative it appears than deco planner.

gas.....bottom time....total deco...out of water

21%.........30.........38 (40/60).......70
21%.........30.........29 (50/50).......61
30/25mix....30.........22 (50/50).......54

On the deco planner if the 50/50 deco gas was started at the same depth as when using the trimix then the gap of 7 minutes might be narrowed some, I would assume. I'm surprised that DIR hasn't figured O2 into the deco plan. Having software programs like this available for free on-line to plan for dives like this is kinda cool. If I can correctly download the program I will start using it, thanks.
