Now you have me baffled.
Maybe I have pestered you too much...... Nah..
Seriously. I think it's a great idea.
I like the idea. I'm glad you want to do this wreck at non-tri-mix depths,
but it's a good enough idea that I would still think it a good idea even
if you sank something deeper, because I think it's a good enough idea that
there will be more ships sunk there eventually and if so, sooner or later,
one may be a bit deeper.

I fully recognize that are views are 180 degrees polar opposite
>Maybe not on this idea

How in the world do you propose to offer any
meaningful observations from something that you have NEVER, EVER experiecned???
>You previously wrote
>>>How is it that you believe you are qualifed to write manifesto's absent
>>>an intelligent understanding and a practical application of the DIR
>And as I said then, I have no interest in writing about DIR. What made
>you think that?
>Probably the same thing that makes you still think I dive overweighted.

You are so out of the loop you should really gain an understanding of the
history, the player, the game and what is actually involved before you advance
theories..
>Actually, the marketing potential sorta jumps out at me and I'm not even a
>marketing type. I'm aware to some degree of the problems of the project,
>but I'm more impressed by its potentials.

I'll sink this damn ship whether you are on board or not....
>How about if I have a stateroom and 1 spare air?

You speak of some outfit becoming a *trimix* outfit which completely underscores
what I'm talking about..
>You completely miss what I'm talking about. If I have the name right, West End Divers Supply
>is that small dive shop at Isthmus. Really, I believe that your idea is good enough that
>there will be more than one ship sunk at Catalina. I think that there is enough potential
>in the idea, that it could support a major dive supply at Isthmus (considering that there
>is more shallow terrain in that area than anywhere else on the front side of Catalina).

Let me start over so you clearly understand it... I said, [ READ SLOWLY].... IN NO WAY,
SHAPE OR FORM, WILL THIS WRECK SIT IN OVER 100'....... What part of that
didn't you understand???? I have NEVER EVER said that you need trimix at 100'..
>That's cool, but I believe that if you sink a ship at Catalina, it will become popular
>enough that it won't be the last one sunk there. Quite possibly, but not likely. It
>just seems like a natural idea.

Sorry if I shock you Michael, but seriously I'm 100% behind you on this idea and
I'm not going to second guess your motives, actions, plans or depths. I do get the
feeling that this is far bigger than you have thought of up till now. Because of the
conditions where you propose this (Catalina), I think it has far more potential than
the Yukon with it's often poor diving conditions. Think about it. Front side Catalina
diving conditions are almost unique on the west coast. Uniquely good.
I'm not kidding. I think it's a really great idea... I didn't think you had it in
you. How'z that?
By the way, gimme some credit. I know that DIR is far more than gear and I've said
so.... about as often as I've made it clear that I don't dive overweighted.
Oh and don't worry your head, you'll get my dive guide.
Enjoy, seahunt
