As requested, I emailed MHK a drawing of a graph.
There are two profiles. Either one could be used for a demo. I included
both, because I have repeatedly described them for this purpose before.
Both are dives I have made many times... though I have not dove the
Badlands of Nic since the early mid 90's.
The graph can be viewed at www.diver.net/seahunt/profile.jpg ... assuming
I load it properly. I think the format is fine and certainly easier to deal
with than a 1.25 meg Word 2000 file.
Now these are obviously approximations, because I have no record of the
profiles, but the Nic dive is described on my site at www.diver.net/seahunt
and the Catalina dive has been posted before. These are a graph of the profiles
as they were described in the dive report.
Really, while I am curious as to the technique, I'm not to that concerned,
because I have repeatedly stated in posts that there is some method...
whatever it is. Well, I finally get to see it.
I have only one question for MHK and I really want an answer cuz I
have asked it many times. How do you record your profile? Perhaps a
recording depth gauge?
MHK, make this good, cuz I don't have the time to waste on you.
