We want to thank PADI for their eleventh hour effort to encourage more diver participation in Chamber Day/Eve 2002. They sent out the following e-mail a day or so before the event to their southwest US (CA, AZ, NV) e-mail list (over 49,000 addresses):

"If you dive in Southern California, then this message is for you.
"The Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber is the only hyperbaric facility dedicated to treating strictly diving accidents, 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. To help ensure its continued operation, we encourage you to attend Chamber Day 2002, this year's fundraising event. Even if you can't attend, you can still support the fundraising effort by buying raffle tickets, or by simply making a donation.
