Because you have retrieved many an anchor, I am sure that you have given the risks involved in this activity much thought. Sometimes when posts sound a little curt, it is because an incident has hit someone close to home. Maybe this would be a good time to make a post of what some of the perils and pitfalls are when it is diver vs a stubborn anchor. Your knowledge,experience, and oppinions could enlighten all of us and perhaps help to keep the rest of us safer if we are ever faced with a similar situation. It is my understanding that this can be a very dangerous activity.
