True, 'wrap' was a poor descriptive term, but is my perception of the long hose behind the wing across the chest behind the neck form of routing. For me, the jury is out.

If I were to dive a cave or wreck and had to squeeze my tank in front of me, then the long hose and this routing makes perfect sense. For an open water OOA, I have had no problems donating my primary and going to my 'octo' (which is a 'real' reg as opposed to the yellow junk being sold).

I am curious about the performance of long hose routing in surf entries/exits (and thru heavy kelp). Does it stay put? Seems like it'd be prone to being pulled away.
