| Air fill in under 30 seconds ? |

I brought my tank for a fill to a dive shop I normally don't go to and was expecting to wait at least 20 minutes as usual. The guy hooks it up and it's full 30 seconds later. I spend the next 15 minutes talking to him about the system. Fundamentally they have big containers (pressurized every morning) sitting in the back and when a tank is hooked up, air simply flows over - no compessor needed. The tank never gets hot and you actually get full fills. Is this something relatively new? Any negative effects on the tank? |
