You have done a lot of diving Chuck that is true.

I have no idea how deep you have gone, although I would venture not very deep, and I have no idea how long you have gone, though again I would venture not too long, since you neither have tried nor trained for decompression.

If you cannot abide a one hour surface interval, that's up to you. Just understand that some of the training agencies consider that a minimum, and your own violation of that minimum would make you unsafe in their view.

I would not call you unsafe. A lot of people like to hurl that insult every chance they get, even here on Chris' board.

It does not take a lot of motivation to become divemaster rated. And you do learn a lot in the process, even you would. And it is the least that you could do, in consideration of the people who you somehow come to listen to you, a basic open water diver with a nitrox cert.

I mean you no ill will. But my suggestion is the same, to get yourself YMCA D/M certified.
