I'm looking into buying my own tanks in a few weeks and I am considering either buying dual tanks with an isolation manifold or a single large tank and a 6 or 13 cuft pony bottle. I would like to have the redundancy as a safety magin. What are the pros and cons of each set-up? I will mostly be in openwater ( less than 100ft ) for now, but I would like to do wreck alley someday.

Also I have a Zeagle Tech BC and was wondering what I needed to mount a double on it. Do I need a backplate for doubles? Has anybody had any experiences using the zeagle tech with a backplate? How easy is it to change back and forth between double and single cylinders?
