The closure was proposed specifically to address the lights from the squid operations.
Southern California is home to 20,000,000 people. The living resources of OUR waters belong to all residents of the state and should be dedicated to the enhancement of recreational opportunities for the residents and not be exported to foreign countries. How do the owners of the resource benefit from all of that vital forage going overseas?
