Brothers and Sisters of the Dive World, recent data shows that the health of the underwater realm at the Channel Islands is declining. Several divers I know who have been diving SoCal for more than 30 years each told me they think that life at the Channel Islands is no more than 10% of what it was just 15 years ago. Certainly there are exceptions to this trend, but new management techniques are clearly in the best interest of us all. If you want to know how you can help create a network of Marine Reserves (like the one on Anacapa), please e-mail me and we can talk. All it will take is a few hours and two nights of you time in the next 5 months. We need more help. Thanks.
