Personally I don't take shorts but had this been me I would have moved to exclude under the fuit of the poison tree doctrine, and then when that automatically failed in the lower court because they are so money hungry I would have moved it up to the appellate level including getting it to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals if needed.

I get a kick out of people who in the name of protecting the environment, the jihad against drugs or whatever, they think the end justifies the means.
