The govement also told Rosa parks that she had to sit on the back of the bus....it was printed right on the govemernments stationery. Same goes for prohibiting women from voting. Right on the law books.
Personally I don't take shorts but had this been me I would have moved to exclude under the fuit of the poison tree doctrine, and then when that automatically failed in the lower court because they are so money hungry I would have moved it up to the appellate level including getting it to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals if needed.
I get a kick out of people who in the name of protecting the environment, the jihad against drugs or whatever, they think the end justifies the means.
