I saw an article somewhere that said that some regulatory body was planning on closing off additional areas of the channel islands around to protect the breeding grounds of an endangered bird.

I believe the article said it would include Santa Barbara island and Anacapa. I also think it basically said it would be completely closed to all boating, fishing and diving interests at night during certain months of the year.

Did anyone else see that article or can point me to a link for more detailed information?
