Jeff,

Why teach someone the wrong way first, while under instructor supervision and then have to re-teach the skill properly later???? Moreover, why doesn't the instructor do it properly ( ie; with trim and bouynacy) instead of sitting kneels down of the floor???

The silt trail following these classes was amazing.. Also, understand I recognize that students learning something will not be proficient until they have practiced the skill.. My issues is with the instructors and the invitation to mediocrity and the teaching it incorrectly from the outset..

Furthermore, as to your point about it being the 1st time, I'm not sure but my understanding of the PADI OW class is that you only do 4 dives and then your certified for life... Most of these dives were 20 minutes or so and most of the time is spent sitting on the floor so I keep asking what are these students actually learning????

Let us know about the demo and we'll set it up.. Terry and I will get together in the next day or so and work on timing. I'm out of town quite a bit in the next month or so, but I think it is important to our community so I'm going to make it a priority...

Later
