Laws are created to help man live with man, to protect property, and in this case, to protect our resources. Anarchy doesn't work. I was very sorry to see a member of our group receive a citation but, he broke the law.

The experienced lobster divers know what F&G proceedure is. These guys didn't do anything out of line that caused people to feel like they are living in a police state. They put up with me photographing their every activity - kuddos to them for that in a "police state" I would have been arrested - and if they would have done anything questionable, I would have photographed that too.

Howver, this quy did later earn the nickname of "spalsh" and unfortunately I didn't catch it on film. Missing it humbled me as a photographer.
