Just got my new dry suit friday, and dove saturday. Nice to be warm and dry in that 54 degree ocean water. feels real strange though. didn't quite expect the squeezing feelings, and whenever I got feet high, it felt like I was loosing my boots. Think I would have like the soft sock and regular booties, or boots better. My feet are hard to fit with normal shoes. Used some heavy socks that are made for fisherman using neopreme waders. it helped some. Dove otehr at Santa Cruise. Little windy, but the water was fairly flat on the north side, and vis was 40, so had some great dives. Hunters pulled in some nice buggs on all the dives. Think I got some nice pic's too. Some odd things for me, no dolphins either out or back, only saw 1 harbor seal, 1 horn shark, and 1 Octpus. Generaly see lots of each. Oh well, had enough to do with the new suit, and new fins too.
