Dawn asked:

" Is it worth the money?"

Answer, absolutely NOT. The dive industry continues to amaze me. Why in the world would anyone spend approx. $325 +/- to rely on a device that is easily rendered moot with moderate skill? I tell my students all the time to never rely on gimmicks to solve for skill problems. Return it if it's not too late and save the money.

Ideas like ankle weights, spare airs, dive trackers, split fins, et. al. are all money making devices for the dive industry to solve for skill problems not resolved during training. It's best to learn the proper way to dive and avoid the necessity and/or desire to rely on ad hoc gadgets.

Regards,
