Why do you think that diving in California is so much different than diving in other places?
Is it because the water can be colder or warmer and your exposure suits may very in style?
Or is it because or fish aren't as colorful?
Or our water is wetter?
Our water pressure is different?
We have too much sun light?
I for one think that california diving is very simple compaired to many other locations I have dived. Why would someone who dives in the gulfstream of Florida need to configure differently in our waters, other than a slight change in thermal protection? This is where George Irvine dives every weekend. In the warm waters off of Fort Lauderdale Florida. The technical stuff he does is only part time.
